Nr 5, Fourqueux Ladies Open

Nr 5

The fifth tournament of the season was played in beautiful Paris, one of my favorite cities in Europe. There are many perks to be playing on tour but the best one must be the privilege we have of going to all the different places we get to go to around the world.

Paris is just one of many wonderful cities we get to visit and experience, and just this year we have been to Dinard, Terrebalche, Galicia and Kristianstad already. Often we only have time to see only the hotels, airports and golf courses and not much more but luckily this week we got to really experience Paris and it was great. Its such a beautiful and influential city that carries a great deal of history and architecture. I really loved spending some time there and is looking forward to be coming back for an other occasion.
The tournament was played just outside of Paris at the beautiful Fourqueux Golf course. It was a great golf course with a fun layout and challenging holes. I played three solid rounds and had a lot of good things going on, but there was still a few things that was not were I needed it to be. I finished 14th for the tournament wish was enough to keep my ranking but regardless I was not that pleased with my finish. What is good is that the weeks that I might not feel that I am playing well or that I'm not happy with my game I can still produce some good scores and decent results. I did collect a good numbers of birdies and so the total is growing. I had 12 birdies and is pleased with that and only now needs to reduce the bogies and "others".

Looking back at the first half of this season I am really pleased with were I am now. I am currently 3rd on the overall ranking and I have achieved many of my goals so far. I am now really looking forward to the rest of this season and hoping that you all will continue to follow.

Have a great summer everyone!

Nr 3, Ocho Golf Ladies Open

Nr 3

The third event of this season was the Ocho Golf Ladies Open in Galicia, Spain. I must say it was not my best week this year. For some strange reason my timing or swing was just not working and even tho I tried so hard to get my feeling back it just ended up being one of those weeks were things were not working. Sometime, for everyone, you just feel "off" and this week was just one of those " off" weeks for me. But I also must add that I learned a lot this week, and it is normally though the hard times you learn the most so I am looking forward to my next event already, which is Kristianstad Åhus Ladies PGA Open. I did have a few Birdies ( 4 birdies ) so i am moving forward in my Birdie hunt at least.

Keep following and results will come:)

Tournament Nr 4

(I am now writing in english as we have a few new members that does not speak Norwegian. hope this is ok for everyone )

There are though hard times we find our selves and that we learn what we are made of. I must honestly say, even tho I did not win the play-off I do feel like some what a winner. The past few weeks have probably been the hardest in my little life so far, for may reasons, and it is therefore I stand here today feeling that it is the hard times that defines us. After many difficult weeks, but with great support from my coach Darren Webster-Clarke and my family, I decided to go out and play that weeks event with a head held high and to give it a fair go. Little did I however know that my strength was bigger than expected and I throughout the whole week kept my focus and stock to my game plan. The weather and conditions were very though so despite everything else the biggest key was patient. So I kept my head cool and kept patient all three round and finally in the last round it paid of and I did exactly what I needed to do. I came back from 8 shots behind and ended up in a very exiting play off. With my 69 and lowest score of the day I finished my 4th tournament of the season tied for 1st. I did not win the play-off but my component hit it in the hole from the fairway and walked of with an eagle on the first play-off hole so it was a little difficult to compete with that! I did give it a good go but hit it past the pin and so her eagle won and I therefore finished on a very good 2nd place

My golf all week was very good and I was swinging it very well and consistent. I managed to scoop up a few more birdies, 9 to be precise, but also 1 eagle.

Its only though hard work and determination we can achieve great things, so therefore ill keep working and so ill achieve!!
